Wireless Services
Modern businesses depend on wireless Internet connections. In addition, many retailers, restaurant, hotels, municipalities, and more are now offering Wi-Fi (wireless-fidelity) to attract and retain customers.
While wireless technology is best known for its ability to provide users with Internet access, there are numerous other uses for wireless in business, medicine, education, manufacturing, and warehousing.
Improve your Bottom Line Many organizations offer their customers, employees and vendors wireless Internet connectivity to boost sales, improve office productivity, and increase the bottom line. And with many more workers spending time away from their traditional offices—in client and team meetings, collaboration in co-workers’ offices, labs, and on factory floors—wireless mobility allows your team to hold impromptu meetings, share ideas, collaborate, and use office resources more efficiently and effectively. With the convenience wireless offers, workers are rarely out of touch. Wireless technology can also increase your company’s ability to control and track inventory with mobile scanners.
The success of your wireless implementation depends on the ability of its users to establish and maintain a connection, so proper design planning and installation are critical in creating a reliable wireless network.
Trust your wireless needs to Seacom, who provides a variety of services to assist you with planning, design, installation, and maintenance of your wireless networks and wireless links, and site survey services for both new and existing wireless networks.
Seacom Provides
Site Surveys Seacom conducts site survey services for wireless network and wireless links that connect two or more buildings to ensure your wireless implementation will deliver the required connectivity. Typical surveys consist of both radio testing and physical inspection of your facilities where wireless coverage or a link is desired. Radio testing will determine the type, quantity, and location of wireless equipment need to build the network. A physical inspection documents the additional facilities, network switches, network cabling, and electrical wiring needed to implement the network. Each customer receives a report detailing the survey results.
Installation Services Seacom will professionally install radios, antennas, networking cabling, and electrical wiring to support connectivity. We can install equipment provided by both end users and integrators, and routinely work from site survey reports and to project specifications as provided by our customers.
Maintenance Services Seacom will provide maintenance services for repair or replacement of damaged equipment, or to troubleshoot coverage problems or down links.
